In 2010 AlphaMax Academy initiated the first Living values Training Program in Suriname. All its staff including Administrative and ancillary staff were trained. The school then adopted Living Values are an important part of the curriculum.
Belén Romero who did the 2010 program is now back to train new teachers and to update the older teachers on new aspects of the program.
The Ministry of Education in Suriname has signalled an intent to add the Living Values program in all schools in Suriname. Teachers from the Basic Life Skills unit of the Ministry will attend the three day workshop.
