AlphaMax Academy is run by the directors of the AlphaMax Foundation,who, with a dedicated cadre of teachers, provide individual attention and teaching to the student body.

Short Profiles of AlphaMax Academy Board of Directors
Rev. Dr. Roderick McLean is Assistant Professor Ministry at the Unification Theological Seminary. He has served as a pastor and as a District Superintendent in the United Methodist Church; from 1997-2001 he was Assistant General Secretary for Mission Education and Leadership Development of the General Board of Global Ministries in New York. He is currently a consultant in leadership development and strategic planning for local congregations and conducts seminars for small churches using the N.O.W. (Nurture-Outreach-Witness) model.

Dr.Edsel Edmunds- Nematologist
Dr. Joseph Edsel Edmunds is a scientist, artist, author, poet, educator, and diplomat. He is the former Ambassador of St Lucia to the UN, OAS, and US.  He is a scientist with a BSA. in Agronomy, MSc in Plant Pathology, and PhD in Nematology.

His works of art are in collections in the Caribbean, USA, Canada, Europe and Africa.

H.E. Kingsley C.A. Layne, C.M.G., is a retired ambassador/ permanent representative of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

K.J.Sodhi is a retired indian career diplomat.

Hon. Eugene Noordpool  (Emeritus) is a distinguished banker and retired Governor of the Central Bank of Suriname.

Dr. Eugene Merkus is Vice President of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance in Suriname; Governor of the National Agricultural bank of Suriname; Former Managing Director of Suriname’s National Academic Hospital. His doctorate is from both the UK and Holland.

Hortense Claver is a CPA who did her degree in the US at American University. She has been a consultant to several leading businesses and organizations in Suriname including The World Wildlife Foundation, which she helped to set up in Suriname.

Emiel Krak is an Engineer who has twenty-eight years of experience working in Suriname’s bauxite industry for SURALCO. He is an inventor with two patents. He is the designer of an innovative all natural food preservation system which is shortly to be implemented at AlphaMax Academy.

Sean Taylor, B.S., M.A., is an educator, media specialist, avid environmental observer, and a published writer. His undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communications and Literature are from US universities. He has national and international experience as a broadcaster and was the Director of a national Television company in a Caribbean state. He is Suriname’s representative for UK based Television Trust or the Environment. He has been an adviser to two Caribbean Heads of State.
