The System
A teacher once said
To a small group of students:
“The system has failed us!”
“The system of society…humanity,
Life and love, has failed us!”
He’s wrong!
The system has not failed us,
You failed yourself in life
The system is us
It’s you, it’s me,
It’s him, her, it’s all of us
We are the system!!
By saying that the system
Has failed us
You are stating that
You failed yourself
In life
I?
I refuse to believe that!!
Why?
Because, I have not failed myself
I do make mistakes,
But, I move on
To a new day, a new dawn,
A new light
Because as long as there is life
There are hopes and dreams .
Shakespeare once said:
“life is a stage, everyone
Has their part to play”
So…
You don’t like your character?
Change!
We can’t change what happened…
But, we can change what will happen!
